This application is an addition and development of the monograph “From Kinglet to Eagle” released in 2017.The application is the first guide of its kind to all bird species encountered over the past 50 years in the Middle Volga region, which is 357 species!The authors, specialist ornithologists, summarized all the faunal information known to them on birds of several regions of the middle Volga - Samara and Ulyanovsk regions, the Chuvash Republic, the Republics of Mari El and Tatarstan. For the first time, a complete list of the avifauna of this territory is provided. For each species, the main characteristics are given that help to correctly identify it in nature, residence status, relative abundance, features of distribution in the Middle Volga region, and brief biology. In the application you will find more than 1,300 photographs collected by Volga region ornithologists, animal photographers and simply nature lovers.The application is intended for ornithologists, tourists, agricultural and forestry workers, students of biological specialties and anyone interested in the nature of the Middle Volga region.
